I'm a third generation Aggie with 13 family members that have graduated from Texas A&M. I've watched this crap play out more than once.

What is our leadership doing to address this and other problems within our Athletic Department? We do not look like a high-profile leader in college sports right now. We look impotent.

Texas is going to enormous lengths to hamstring our athletics program and so far we are doing jack **** about it. People treat you the way you allow them to treat you. We have some work to do to bounce back from this...but what for? Why? Are we really just going to sit around and wait for this to happen again? Make an example of these pukes.

I agree with everything you just said. There are no GUTS with the Texas A&M leadership. Just take the example of the hand wringing and contract extension for Jimbo when they *thought* LSU might be a risk. Come on, play the game with a little a$$-kicking mentality going forward. GUTS dammit.

I agree. Our brass needs to bring some type of action. I don't know how. But we need to make this a problem and very public and very embarrassing.

THIS RIGHT HERE IS THE ****ING PROBLEM.

1. This didn't happen within 24 hours. You are echoing the line of bull**** that Texas is feeding everyone.

2. We should be elbowing our way into rooms and conversations so we aren't...a) surprised Texas secretly joined the SEC or b) poached our entire coaching staff and half the roster.

I have to believe this but how come no names have surfaced? Someone always leaks this kind of stuff.

Hopefully searching for a winner and reorganizing our NIL funds. We've gotten some good pub the last weeks, we should be able to capitalize if we're competent.

As ole Claytee famously said "Just sit back relax and enjoy it." He was comparing rain and rape because there's nothing you can do about either. That attitude describes A&M admin for the last 40+ years. Do you see any signs that they are going to change? They still cash our checks and that is all that matters (to them).
