Like I thought the buyout doubles if it's them.

The threat of a lawsuit that results in depositions of that coaching staff and applicable players would cause a ****storm. But nobody has the nuts to do it.

CDC is not stupid enough to leave a trail that will lead back to Texas. I'd expect them to use untraceable phones and actual phone calls, through proxies, as a very basic precaution. This type of thing has to be thought through beforehand. I expect a lot of allegations, scant evidence all this to blow over relatively soon.

ACKTUALLY...
Sec. 10. ESTABLISHMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS; AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT. The Legislature shall as soon as practicable establish, organize and provide for the maintenance, support and direction of a University of the first class, to be located by a vote of the people of this State, and styled, "The University of Texas", for the promotion of literature, and the arts and sciences, including an Agricultural, and Mechanical department.
A reference to screenshots mentioned by Brauny on the radio and on twitter that indicate this was a very bad deal.whatthehey78 said:

This is false. Buy-out doubled if he left for any Texas school.OMeara said:

There is no such thing as an untraceable phone if you're using cellular towers.

To be fair, that's just a quick trip to hobby lobby and a few balloon inflators.
Michael's. They don't support Hobby Lobby in Austin.

If true....hit tu with the death penalty.
Even if not true, they should get it anyway

A&M is not going to sue UT. That would be ridiculous for a lot of reasons, but primarily because it'd be the state ultimately suing itself. This is all just theater.

Correct. POS even referenced that in his coronation presser today.

So Brauny (and his people) were "sent screenshots" of this? If true, why would he not post them on social media? Is he holding onto them for some reason?

Am I being dramatic? This hire is the most important athletic hire in the history of men's Texas A & M sports.
Let me lay out my case:
1) This sucks
2) He's a great coach; losing him to them hurts.
3) The way he did this has irreparably harmed his reputation but if he wins ( which he likely will ) none of this will matter.
4) The reality is the perception that we are little brother has always been there for better or worse. It's not going away, but I think it is not an understatement that this hire will have ripple effects across other sports and the sporting world in general. Do we really think that a recruit considering us or them won't remember this that arguably a top 5 coach in their respective sport chose them over us.
5) We have to absolutely nail this. It has to be the biggest fish. I don't know who that is. Honestly, it has to be Vitello or Corbin. Perhaps Forbes at UNC.
That's it. There are repercussions far beyond baseball if we don't get this right. Vitello would be an absolute **** you right back at them. Game on.
