Colts leaving for Baltimore in the middle of the night...right?
Riley leaving OU for USC.
Oilers leaving Hstn...kinda of.

There are plenty thru the years, but will get uglier in this new age. This one just hits home a bit more.

the one that is on par from a character perspective is tommy tubberville leaving a recruit at dinner while taking the job at cincy. never thought that low class scenario would ever be touched by another coach. i was wrong. schloss has upped the anti.

The full impact has still not been realized yet. Depending on how many players go orange will determine where it falls on the list.

It's not just Horn hatred. This is a bright hot spotlight on the fact that we will NEVER be a real player in athletics. Second tier at best.

Did he sabotage the championship series in order to not put him at a further disadvantage at his new job?

Yes. We put a ton of faith and resources behind that guy to build a powerhouse program. To spurn us for the next shiny object he sees was despicable.

If we're ever going to be successful as an athletic department, we have to get past this "us against Texas" mentality. We play 56 baseball games a year…not one. We play 12 football games a year…not one.

Big picture here. Schloss screwed us over by leaving like he did. Where he went is of no matter. Leaving us in a lurch is the problem.

Nah they're right. Him leaving sucks and hurts, but it massively magnified by the fact that its leaving to go to those *****es in Austin

Washington played for all of the marbles in football just a few months back, and then their coach left for a top program -Alabama. Everyone here just shrugged.

In fact there were a bunch of folks on this site suggesting he should have left Washington in a lurch before the playoffs started to come our very own **** show.

We will be ok. We may not be good next year in baseball, but we will be good again very soon.

I don't see it as much hurt as I do upset. Character / Integrity are very important to me in business and personal relationships. Texas has constantly exhibited a lack of both and Schloss just did the same thing. Anyone who can look at how this occurred and be ok with it has questionable judgement.

A lot of people have said this, but I don't see anyone purposely trying to lose the World Series. Plus this deal had been done for a while, so he would have tried to get out of the postseason earlier if that was the case.

I'd bet anything that it was Schoss that reached out to Texas first.

I'm ok with coaches moving and or getting poached because that's how it's done and this is biz.

Just keep you pig mouth shut during a press conference. Or better yet, just play coy but don't say stuff like "I'm never leaving and I love the 12th man"

I don't remember it being 12 hrs after their national title game but Chris beard leaving tech is the only thing I can think of.

Saban left LSU for Bama after winning a title at LSU. Ask an LSU fan how they felt about that, and to make matters worse Saban went on to win 6 more titles at Bama while beating some good LSU teams. Prepare yourself. This Schlong thing could get worse.

I've had a some buddies reach out to me and say their is massive dirt on Schloss.

Stuff that people stood silent on when he was with the good guys, but since he left to tu…….things are about to be brought to light.

So we discover that slosh is a lying traitor who likely never meant any of what he said about Texas A&M. I don't respect him nor do I wish him any success because he doesn't deserve it. There are consequences to bad behavior.

Tu did their normal disruptive thing here just reminding us all of their true lack of character as well. They have been a failure for more than a decade in all major sports and I sense a bit of desperation. They now have 3 coaches that are lacking compared to their prior coaches. They are about to discover that the SEC is really good and they won't like it.

If they really wanted to succeed in SEC baseball they would have hired Tennessees coach. I guess they have lost whatever they had to draw the best coaches.
