That's what's most infuriating. I'm starting to believe our post season run was actually a pain in their asses. They thought they'd be out fairly early on and move with a decent number of our current players.

And yet if the Texas 3rd baseman fields a very routine ground ball - all these guys very well would still be in BCS and Pierce would have a job.. hell Texas could have made the cws, given they only had to beat the ducks to make it (if they made supers).

I think beating Texas was the only thing these coaches cared about. These deals take months. MONTHS! **** these guys. Go back to when our hitting suddenly fell off the face of the earth. I'd bet a decent chunk of money that's when this deal was done

Not so sure about that. In hindsight, Oregon had God awful bullpen depth. So bad they left a guy in who couldn't throw over the plate and walked in numerous runs.

I don't have insight into which team would host in that hypothetical. My guess would have been Texas though

This seems weird in a way. It would be strange to welcome the entire sip baseball staff to A&M. I don't think I would like to see Texas' entire coaching staff in maroon, regardless of who they are.

What does it say about all of these "men" knowing they just gutted a program and left it in the condition they did after all the support? To follow their "leader"? How could you have any respect for him? No one disloyal to him? I guess money rules.

I'm not sure anyone has. I've never heard of a situation where an entire coaching staff is recruiting to their next job weeks before the season is over.
