I'll be curious to see some final ticket price comparisons for Finals weekend. We went to Game 1 and ticket prices never dropped prior to game time. Cheapest set of 4 after first pitch was over $600. Yesterday for Game 2 I saw a $35 set of 4 right before first pitch.

I'm curious if Game 1 was the most expensive CWS Final ever?

Yep. Game 1 never dropped. Was happy to buy my ticket in a Kansas wheatfield at 11 a.m. for $300.

But seriously, you can get game 3 tickets, actual seats, for $100 right now. You wanna play chicken, go ahead. But this is the best deal of the past 3 days.

Same. I bought my Game 1 tickets around 10:00 am Saturday somewhere in Kansas. I paid $350 each for section 123. No regrets!

I've been watching closely the last few hours. Supply is slowly ticking up. Prices are searching lower.

I'm guessing demand is too soft and supply is too great to support current prices even. Very interested to see how sro availability affects things.

I have a change (server work) scheduled from 6 to 10 tonight. With good fortune it will take under 30 minutes, but I have to do it because I have more work scheduled Wednesday night that depends on this having already been done. Lots of eyes on this project, and I might find myself looking for work if I skipped it.

Awesome seats all over for $75. With fees prolly around $100. If you can get here in 8 hours, you're GTG. Parking is a breeze here. 20th and Cuming is a 10 minute walk to the stadium.

I don't know if I was in the matrix but I found 4 for $230 at game time above our dugout.

I just checked and A ticket can be had for $71 INCLUDING fees. Stubhub for $74 with fees.

That was dial in to the radio station luck. There were only a half dozen listings at first pitch, and the lowest was $1100. Never seen an event like it.

For Game 1 they gave tickets away to a baseball tournament - teams and their families. So, there were not a ton of extras on the market.

All of those players and families had games yesterday.
