Fantastic season regardless of outcome. The Vols are good... really good. I have no idea if the Ags can pull it off, but it doesn't matter... it's the best season I can remember. The team is legit no matter what happens Monday.

Speak for yourself. I'm 102 and remember the last one like it was yesterday. I was 17 years old and went to the game with my high school sweetheart. Next month we will have been married for 80 years.

All according to plan. No way this team was winning a natty without another obstacle to overcome. Winner take all game Monday is what they have trained for all year. They are ready and I am confident

If we lose tomorrow I really hope it's because we simply came out on the short end of a slugfest. I want bed sheets to stay clean.

Sucks to lose, but my 9 and 1 shirt gets to get laundered and we get one more game of baseball. Great season, great looking future for schlossnagle and co.

There are a SH**load of teams out there that wish they were still playing.
I am still confident we bring home the title

The most painful thing to me today was the fact targac's ball would have gone over the wall if the wind had just even momentarily died down. That foul rope he hit earlier in at bat also would have gone out if just a tad later on the swing.

The loss hurt but we had base running errors, a throwing error, at times looked a bit off. Pitchers did enough to get us a win though, just got shut down at plate by UT.

We can win this but I've enjoyed a first ever trip to the CWS (for me) and a national championship finals either way

My emotional state this morning was excellent! Quietly confident.

After the game today, I am just sulking in the face of leaving Omaha. I wanted to watch us win - to be in the stadium. To experience it.

But I have a job that I can't do any more maneuvering for days off right now.

As for our team - I still believe. I know we can do it.

The moment that you recognize that Aggie Athletics will always do less with more and will let you down 19 times out of 20 you reach Aggie Nirvana. This is house money and as good as it gets for Ol Rock. Maybe we win, more than likely we lose in some really painful way but thats just what being an Ag is. Show up next year ready to yell for the boys and hope whatever kick in the face we take doesn't hurt that bad

Lots a teams wish they were still in but 2nd place is still the first loser, but win or more likely lose, there is more to being an Aggie than athletic success

Calm as a cucumber.

Baseball never makes me as nervous or angsty as football, for whatever reason. It's a long season; some guys are on when others are off. And for this team to still be playing this well, there's no reason to doubt that tomorrow can be one of those magic days when everyone's on.

I wish I had an argument to the contrary.

I'm not good at this optimism thing. But I'm gonna give it one more go tonight

I'd typically agree with this sentiment in regards to Aggie Athletics but what Schloss has done in his third year, what this team has done in the face of some major setbacks, has overwhelmingly over performed. UTenn is the no. 1 team in the land. We should expect a heavyweight fight. Hopefully we land more blows than they do tonight and knock 'em out.

Let's bury these dirtbags

Still disappointed about what might have been yesterday, but calm and optimistic this morning. Glad I'm going to the office until about 1. I need to burn some mental energy.

Nervous. It will be a dog fight, lots of pitching changes to not allow the game to get out of hand on either side. It will depend heavily on who pitched in the last two days has any gas in their tank.

What I AM confident in, is that our coaching staff and players will be as ready as they can be. They have shown us through this memorable season that their hearts are 'all in'.

Should our effort tonight fail to bring home the trophy, at the very least, A&M going down to the wire will serve notice that we have become one of the premier programs in the country. Coach will have his pick from high schools and portal of the top players who want to play here. I anticipate earning Omaha will become a regular thing.

But that is for tomorrow to discuss. Tonight....BTHO Tennessee! (And their coach.)

I've been fairly calm for this series, for maybe a few reasons.

Part of that is the fact I'm generally more laid back as a fan for baseball vs football or basketball, but that's because so many games are played over a season and none are do or die - but THESE are, the whole post season is do or die. I had higher stress levels for the UT regional game, some Oregon games, the first Florida game in Omaha, than I have had for these past two. Which is strange.

Another reason I've been somewhat calm is the fact I'm in Omaha for the first time ever, have wanted to attend the CWS for 30+ years - so I'm thrilled to be here. Thrilled the Ags are in the finals. amazed we now have 6 (SIX!) CWS wins in the past 3 years. I strongly believe Schloss will have us back here win or lose this championship.

I was getting worked up when Targac came to the plate as the tying run - that was a fun "what if......" moment. Otherwise, with the early lead in game 1 and game 2 not being do or die, I've stayed somewhat chill so far and just celebrated the good moments and not felt destroyed when things go UT's way.

But today, with one game to win it all, I do find myself quite nervous. I am definitely now worked up. This is going to be a slow day.

I'm super calm but excited. At the same time, I'm sad because no matter what happens it's the last college baseball game of the year.

I'm pretty calm right now. I knew this wasn't going to be easy, so I was able to accept yesterday's outcome.

Now, I'll probably be a nervous wreck tonight, and guaranteed to shed a tear either way.
