So the explanation is you were right that Praeger should have gotten the win and you were wrong when you thought he didn't.
I'm guessing the OP mistyped the title... it probably shoulda ended with " shots in".
I thought the WP next to his name meant "winning pitcher." I've since discovered it means "wild pitch." You learn something new every day.

Baseball has more acronyms than a telecom company. I have to look up WHIP and OPS all the time because I can't remember all of it.
