That's why you state NCAA playoffs. We are the only undefeated team in them. And before you freak out. Kaden Kent called them the playoffs twice in the press conference last night.

It saddens me that postseason is seemingly going out of style in baseball while the use of the term in football has gone up exponentially in the past few seasons.

It's not really the post season though. It's actually the post regular season if we need to be specific.

To each their own.

I just like the term playoffs. Always have. Stems from playing in the playoffs in Texas HS. That's always the goal.

The term playoffs made no sense in the days before expansion made divisional play necessary in MLB. I know I'm being overly traditional but I prefer postseason for baseball and it irks me that while it is going out of vogue for baseball it being used more and more in football.

I would not consider conference tournaments to be playoffs, because it is possible to lose...and even lose multiple games...but still have your season continue.
