I don't get pulling Lamkin. Have his replacement nearly warmed up. If he gets the first batter out, let him continue. If he labors, you bring in Cortez. No need to burn a bunch of arms.

JL hadn't thrown more than a couple innings in 6 weeks. Guessing that and Cags up 1st played into that. Still, JL looked really good.
