One name I haven't seen here that's going to wind up being CRUCIAL in Omaha is Badmaev. He pitched pretty well the second half of the season and I think he'll wind up having to give us a lot of quality innings if we make any kind of run

He's in the "could eat some innings," category. I think we'll need real production from those guys if we want to be in Omaha for long.

Badmaev doesn't have great stuff but he does throw strikes and in a big park like Omaha I could see him being more effective. He's had a couple of solid outings recently. I definitely think he could play a significant role in helping us piece things together.

You mean the guy who got the win in game 2 vs OU?

Just like EVERYBODY else, if our guys are on, we have a chance.

Best case, Prager goes 7 in game 1 & we get a win. Then Jones or ???????? gets us to the 7th in game 2 & we get a win.

Then, figure it out.

Yes Tanner Jones will be called upon and he has a shot at eating up some innings.He could also be one that surprises everyone with his success. He's got it in him. Just needs to figure it out.
