I typically see it as Rudis surviving. He does not have good enough stuff to beat these better hitters. Only thing he has going for him is Omaha is not small. Going to need some of the talented young arms to step up. Maybe Kaiden Wilson, Weston Moss, or Isaac Morton. Also looking for possibly Zane or Eldridge who have been good lately to get another extended start. Of course all of this really boils down to more pressure on Prager.
Rudis has it in him. Just needs to find it and get on a roll. He could be a difference maker down the stretch eating up innings as others have said.
Isaac Morton hasn't pitched in awhile and Eldridge had one good showing.
Praeger, Cortez, Aschenbeck, Lamkin and Rudis without a doubt.
Then I think we lean on Moss, Wilson, Stewie for a batter or 2, Zane, Peevy for a batter or 2, and anybody else I'm forgetting that Schloss rolled out there against Oregon in the last game.
Praeger has pitched in Omaha and I don't see him feeling any added pressure. Also Praeger has the occasional bad start like all pitchers do. I don't think that means he's taken a step back. I expect him to lead the charge in Omaha along with Aschenbeck.
