Driving out solo to meet family for the Saturday game. Burned up points at the Hampton Inn roach coach by the stadium.
The Hampton right by the park is super nice

Seems hit or miss from reviews. Says on site parking but that it also fills up. I'm not picky though. Just need a place to sleep and shower. I save up points from work trips just for stuff like this.BeatHellOutOfTU said:NColoradoAG said:

Will be there!
Been going to Omaha for work for over 20 years. Been to CWS 4 times, but never when the Ags were playing. The stars aligned this year. Son is playing in the 14U Slumpbuster Tournament so we were committed anyway. Now that the Ags are playing, it will be even sweeter!

You haven't lived until you stay EAST of Omaha!
I lived in Papillion for 5 years in the 70's when my dad was stationed at Offutt. He was an Arizona State grad and the Sun Devils were in the CWS almost every year we lived there. He took my brother and me to a ton of games at Rosenblatt. I still have a few baseballs covered with player signatures. Great memories of Papillion and the CWS.86HellCat said:

Google maps says hour drive… is that not accurate?
Tuve said:I stayed in Lincoln in 2022 and will be doing so again this year. Hotels are not very expensive and only 30 minutes from Omaha. Plus, cool college town with University of Nebraska being there. Highly recommend itfightintxaggie10 said:

Omaha A&M club does an outstanding job of hosting. In 2017 it was at the Hilton patio area. Don't know if it'll be in the same or different spot this go round.
This bar has figured out how to tap into stupidity for sure. Good for them, bad on everyone else.AirlineAg97 said:
I heard A&M is already in the lead on the Jell-O Shot race. Someone called the restaurant earlier lol.

The bar is actually pretty nice. Went to a private tailgate there last year, good atmosphere.

Too packed for my liking… you can't even move inside usually. But they donate to charity on the shots so not all bad.

We'll be arriving Saturday afternoon and only there for the afternoon and the game, and then headed back to Minnesota after the game. With that being said will only be in Omaha for the afternoon before the game. Would like to check out the area by the stadium but will it be insane Saturday afternoon and impossible to eat/enjoy? Or a must visit? Thnx in advance!
