If we win all of our games what is the schedule ? Saturday Monday Wednesday ? Then we start the championship series Saturday ?

We were on a Spring Break road trip to visit family in Nebraska this year and picked my son up at the Omaha airport. As you probably know, you drive right past CS stadium. "Home of the College World Series!" Sure wish we could go back but work commitments and scheduled summer vacation won't allow. Hopefully this is the first of many to come!!
Seems hit or miss from reviews. Says on site parking but that it also fills up. I'm not picky though. Just need a place to sleep and shower. I save up points from work trips just for stuff like this.BeatHellOutOfTU said:NColoradoAG said:

I stayed there 2 years ago it was nice this year I'm at the Hilton but parking at the Hilton is 15 bucks more a night

Been going to Omaha for work for over 20 years. Been to CWS 4 times, but never when the Ags were playing. The stars aligned this year. Son is playing in the 14U Slumpbuster Tournament so we were committed anyway. Now that the Ags are playing, it will be even sweeter!

We are going for the first time. Will be there from Friday to Tuesday. Hope to have a little Olsen magic makes it's way to Omaha.

I lived in Papillion for 5 years in the 70's when my dad was stationed at Offutt. He was an Arizona State grad and the Sun Devils were in the CWS almost every year we lived there. He took my brother and me to a ton of games at Rosenblatt. I still have a few baseballs covered with player signatures. Great memories of Papillion and the CWS.86HellCat said:

Downtown Lincoln to stadium area is a hair under an hour. Drove it dozens of times from my house in central Lincoln to the airport. Eastern Lincoln/Waverly is more like 45 minutes, but I never looked for hotels there. AVOID Lincoln airport area hotels> dumps. Downtown/Haymarket or suburban hotels are all fine.

Omaha A&M club does an outstanding job of hosting. In 2017 it was at the Hilton patio area. Don't know if it'll be in the same or different spot this go round.

Fair - I went to the private room/patio and it was before the first game of the day. It was packed then, so I'm sure it only gets more crowded.

We'll be arriving Saturday afternoon and only there for the afternoon and the game, and then headed back to Minnesota after the game. With that being said will only be in Omaha for the afternoon before the game. Would like to check out the area by the stadium but will it be insane Saturday afternoon and impossible to eat/enjoy? Or a must visit? Thnx in advance!

Should be ok to walk around and enjoy buy shirts early they sell out of polos.
The Drover steak house is the best steak I have had it's not close to the stadium
