We've come a long way, and not a good way.

Micky Mantle never looked at the pitcher when he hit a homer. He ran the bases and went to the dugout. He didn't want to show the pitcher up.

These kids act like little spoiled brats and need to be taken down a few notches. We have quit teaching sportsmanship.

So 2 coaches ejected but the kid wasn't? Why were the coaches arguing if nothing happened to the kid.

Good question. Leggett came WAY out of the dugout, but not sure for what. I think there's was going to be an ump conference over whether to eject him and Leggs got pre-excited. ONLY the head coach is allowed to come talk to the umps like that by rule.

Just don't know the Bakich have a flying F about that.

Also, Bakich would not have been ejected for the extra game without those extracurriculars. You saw the ump raise the "2" fingers in the middle of his tirade as he was pushing his way past the umps to get to the crew chief.

Fans should wear suits and bowlers in the stands too!

I blame Ken Griffey Jr. If they never let him wear his hat backwards in batting practice we'd never be here.

I'm as "unwritten rules" as it gets. Probably too much. But he did nothing towards the opponent. All to the dugout. On a go ahead HR in the 13th to keep your season alive. You have to allow it there (and they did).
