Things getting wild in Knoxville. Called interference on the batter for Evansville so he was out and the runner that had made it to second is sent back to first. Evansville coach asks them to talk about it and they come back and not only call the hitter out but go further and decide to call the runner out too. Now they're going to review.

I don't like that interference call in the first place - he could have easily thrown it and been fine - but that's the rule.

Calling the out at second is just crap.

..and they called it correctly. Well that better.

Still blows my mind we had interference called when the catcher didn't throw the ball to be interfered with.

Catcher lost the ball on the exchange and Blue got fooled by good acting.

Exactly. I figured he's still have to make the throw attempt? Especially to see if the runner would have made it to second. Still not sure what blue was thinking there.

Anyone think this year's super regionals are going to be super chalky? 7 of the top 8 advanced, 6 of the 8 matchups are 1v3 or 4 seeds, there are no 2 seeds, and every matchup has a top 16 seed. Feels like a setup for chalk.
