Based on a quick internet search it appears that the following is true:
-- University of Oregon fans have used duck calls or similar noise makers to support their team.
-- It was a tradition for them.
-- There were even special duck calls / noise makers that they would buy for the purpose.
-- To raise funds, the UO band sold duck calls / noise makers for use at UO games.

Imo, with that in mind, it does not make sense for Aggies to use duck calls. Maybe this plan should be reconsidered.
In fact, it seems it could be a self inflicted Aggie joke in the making. It's easy to imagine the TV commentators knowing about the UO duck call tradition. Seems they would happily use this as a talking point when they run out of other things to fill the time. Might not be a good look for us.
