I'm guessing they are gone now cuz I've been spamming the try again button for about 30 mins. My 74 year old grandmother is going with me now Saturday for her first Aggie game so section 12 where I have tickets might not be the move

Yeah I've been at it since 8. My plan is to get the reserved seats if I can and then just give my section 12 seats away on here but it looks like they are probably out

I see a few for $150, trying to decide if is worth it to sit by some Ducks and potentially roast.

It'll be hot but shouldn't be in the sun. I'm pretty sure that's the top row

I think you should do it. It's looking like I'm only going to be able to make Sunday and if needed, Monday. Which is probably for the best, kiddo-wise

There are three more available in 201, row 15 for $160 on subhub if anyone is interested.

Bought by someone else while I was hemming and hawing. Don't put a Monday game into the universe

I didn't want to say only Sunday and have someone say something about Monday.

At least it will smell good, with all that roast duck.

My advice is to wait until the day of the game to buy the tickets.

1. All these people listing for outrageous prices will see their tickets are not selling and will lower to a more reasonable price.
2. Or you could get in the box office line early and see what they have before the game. They're not guaranteed to have anything, but you may get some in the visitor allotment if Oregon has trouble selling theirs on the secondary market, lol.
3. Prepare for the worst case and have some lawn chairs in the back of your car. If you can't get tickets, sit out in Aggie Alley.

Possibly Oregon didn't take the full allotment and this is 12thman. All the tickets that hit seat geek before season ticket holders can resell are posted by the 12thman association. No one else has tickets to resell yet. They are typically well above market value.

Definitely waiting is what I should do. I just usually get so anxious and way overpay. My biggest hesitation for waiting for Saturday is really wanting to get something in the shade.

Tickets got into the 12th man accounts this morning.

Possibly this isn't 12man. But I showed I had tickets but couldn't list them yet. However tickets were listed. Those were 12thman. Prices dropped as others could list. I assume they use smart pricing which automatically adjusts prices by the number of listings

They have done this with unsold season tickets at Kyle for years. More profitable than setting for list at the ticket window

Might be one of the dozens we have on ticket exchange like RV or Bearkatrunner that seem to have 12+ in all different sections to every sport

Nonsense, the TMF does not allow donors to buy tickets for the sole purpose of reselling them at obscene profits. They have a very strict resale policy.
And this is policed how?

Not sure if serious ;
If you spend anytime on the ticket exchange board you know that high priority point people are doing this

If non 12 MF entities do this it's considered scalping, if big donors do it , it's market conditions and entrepreneurship

The TMF does have a strict resale policy. The policy is meaningless if not enforced.

Amen. I don't get the response over and over that its capitalism, whatever the market will bear, etc. Bottom line is its Aggies getting unreasonable prices for tickets from other Aggies. Not only that by 12th Man Fdn guidelines they should not be doing this. Also, something about Aggie core values - correct? I mean we are Aggies and Aggies are we.

If season ticket holders can't make the Supers then they shouldn't buy the tickets and try and make crazy money from other Aggies.

For those that bought through Oregon - How much did Oregon charge their people for tickets? did they have a mandatory donation fee for them? I tried all day yesterday with no luck!

Again. If the prices are unreasonable, do not buy. Buying the tickets just enables this behavior.

$50 for all session. The confirmation says "GA1, all session reserved", so it's a little contradictory so not sure where they will be. There was no donaiton requirement, no fees added.

Curious if anyone ever tried to call Oregon ticket office to ask what is available. Would love to hear them claim that their allotment is "sold out".

You may want to call anyways to see if you got GA or Reserved because ya...contradictory.

FYI my intention on this thread was not to rail on people selling for more than face value. That's not my concern at all and it reeks of people wanting something expensive for cheap. I really don't know why people need to bring up Aggie core values and stuff when this gets discussed. If someone buys a ticket and then someone wants to buy it for more - who cares? If you don't want to spend money on it then don't. For the resellers, it could just as easily go the other way (look at the George Strait concert) and the original buyer lose a lot of money.

What's happening here is not that. There was a 4 ticket limit for general public purchase and for good reason - it prevents bots from buying up hundreds of tickets and completely controlling the market and potentially leading to lots of empty seats. In this case someone/some entity was able to acquire hundreds of tickets that happen to be in the Oregon away fan's allotment. It's beyond whether "scalping" is right/wrong. There is a clear breakdown of how the process is supposed to work and how it typically does. That's an issue that should be looked at whether it is someone rogue within the Oregon AD or if it's an institutionalized practice they have figured out to make some decent money for their program.

Have you ever walked up to the ticket window at Olsen and had someone walkup and interupt your purchase to give you tickets?

I have, at least half a dozen times over the years. If I have extras I give them away. I gave away 4 ULaLa Lawn tickets on Sunday.

I guess I'm cheap, but I think it is BS for donors to buy tickets they have no intention of using to sell them for 10-20x markup. Want to sell them, fine, double it. But don't ask $150 for a $10 ticket.

A ticket for all games to the Supers is $50. What's an expensive ticket and what's a cheap ticket for one game of a Super Regional?

Big money donors with first level seating are asking exorbitant amounts for their tickets when the 12th Man Fdn says that this is not allowed. This is very much about core values. Oregon isn't traveling. And so its Aggies trying to sell to Aggies for crazy money.

It's easy to say don't buy the ticket but for someone unaware that the tickets go down in value the closer it gets to the game and an Aggie who really wants to go and take his family to a game and so he dishes out $400 a ticket because they don't know better - how is that ok? Buyer beware? Its Aggies ripping off Aggies and that's what is upsetting.

As Aggies we'll stop on the side of the road and help out a fellow Ag with a flat tire but as long as we don't know the Aggie who is buying from us and the Aggie buyer doesn't know that the $400 ticket will go down to $100 as the game time gets closer and we sell to them because they don't know any better - that's somehow ok? That's messed up.

IMO this it the 12th Man, not donors (at least in this section). This has been the visiting team parent section in previous games and I am sure they had to hold those tickets until Oregon released them.

My extra tickets in the regionals were in 202/203 as reserved and this time they were GA.

I called them to ask and they indicated that I was likely moved down because more higher point folks bought SR vs R tickets. I find it odd, but oh well.

Also for what is worth, IMO, the presale of tickets and All Session were never a donor option prior to them being released to donors. Again, this is the 12th Man starting to set the market (IMO) for the games.

Just my opinion on the OP.
