FYI my intention on this thread was not to rail on people selling for more than face value. That's not my concern at all and it reeks of people wanting something expensive for cheap.
A ticket for all games to the Supers is $50. What's an expensive ticket and what's a cheap ticket for one game of a Super Regional?
Big money donors with first level seating are asking exorbitant amounts for their tickets when the 12th Man Fdn says that this is not allowed. This is very much about core values. Oregon isn't traveling. And so its Aggies trying to sell to Aggies for crazy money.
It's easy to say don't buy the ticket but for someone unaware that the tickets go down in value the closer it gets to the game and an Aggie who really wants to go and take his family to a game and so he dishes out $400 a ticket because they don't know better - how is that ok? Buyer beware? Its Aggies ripping off Aggies and that's what is upsetting.
As Aggies we'll stop on the side of the road and help out a fellow Ag with a flat tire but as long as we don't know the Aggie who is buying from us and the Aggie buyer doesn't know that the $400 ticket will go down to $100 as the game time gets closer and we sell to them because they don't know any better - that's somehow ok? That's messed up.
