My wife is from Omaha area and we will be up there during CWS. Looking at tickets anyone know which baseline gets shade first? Is it 3rd or 1st base?

1st base side gets shade first I believe

ETA - Really the best shaded seats will be the upper rows of the first deck. It grabs shade from the 2nd deck.

Agreed. First base side gets the shade. Don't go too far out down the line because the second deck only extends so far. Upper first deck around the first base area would be ideal. It's a great ballpark. Y'all will enjoy. Loved it when I went in 2022!

I've heard row 20 and above you should be fine on 1st base line

If there is a breeze you want to be close to the front mezzanine under 2nd deck, there's a good breeze that runs through the front of the stadium steps and very close to the snocone machines.

1st base gets shade. Higher up the better. Anything behind the plate moving toward 3rd is like an oven during day games.

We sat along 3B line under the over hang two years ago. The heat was unrelenting. Tickets are easy to come by, I'd wait. Make sure you grab a good hotel sooner rather than later.

There is only one good scoreboard, and it is deep in the right field corner. I hated sitting on the first base side because you have to crane your neck to see a replay or the expanded stats. Will only sit on the third base side moving forward.
