When Rock died in the early 90's, this (the Better than Ezra song) was one of the songs that tried to keep it alive. Live, Nirvana, Weezer, they all tried for a while, but eventually whiney rock (like Pearl Jam), discordant stuff like Soundgarden, no talents like Nickleback, and rap-rock (Linkn Park) had their time before giving way to the mellow crap we have today.

I'm not sure what you're talking about....but....Pearl Jam is the best band of the last 30 years and Live can go die in a hole and get struck by their boring qss lightning crashes, never to be heard from again

Haha no kidding

I was born in 1989.

My grandpa and dad brought me up to pretty much everything produced before 1991.

Old Metallica, Megadeth, Santana (supernatural was amazing however), Led Zeppelin, ozzy, Judas Priest, Joplin, Hendrix and SRV…….

Obviously there are a hand full of great bands from 1990 until now but just never hit the same
