Between the Scoreboard and the Batter's Eye in Center. Supposed to seat 250 or so. I'm assuming they will be there for post season and next year. Gig 'Em.

This will have no effect on left field. It's left of dead center, but not far enough left to cause Aggie Alley pedestrians any issues.
Why? There is still to the right of scoreboard (if looking in from Aggie Alley). Now there are not suppose to be anyone out there during NCAA Tournament Events but they did not chase off the crowd that gathered out there for the Regional and Super in '22.Detective Jake Peralta said:

I y'all are right! But I could also see them setting up the entrance to those sections in a place that would block the whole "alley" off if you don't have a ticket.

Once I win the lottery and pay for C.E. "Pat" Olsen Field III to be built, my left field apartment, and the bleachers above, will obscure your view.

From the discussion it doesn't sound like trying to stop anything in LF but just to allow more GA in the stands. This would be on the other side of the scoreboard if you are standing in LF with your cooler. Don't think its a negative at all. Just trying to add more places for Aggies to sit in the stadium.

Assuming it's this same work that was mentioned last week on here. Sounds like it will be part of Section 12 and regular GA tickets.
Renovations to Olsen Field are getting underway. My guess is they're building some Left-Center bleachers?

The light pole was still here a few days ago, it's gone now.

I'm just surprised they have not put outfield bleachers like section 12 all around the open slots.
They are GA tickets. Wish they had shade. Afternoon games out there will be lethal.

I miss jogging over from main campus and not wanting to go all the way into the stadium sometimes, just watching the game from the transformer box behind the LF foul pole.

They have to control the crowd and alcohol / bringing in food somehow. I doubt they're spending money with no plan to recoup the cost and charge for access.dabo man said:

It's a lot easier just to fence off the outfield at the foul pole to the Rec than to have to get creative just for the bleachers.

I miss parking the truck with a grill and cooler in Aggie Alley when I was in school. The cooler was full of sodas, of course.
