I really didn't think the Sooners were going to come back in this game anyways. Every time OU tightened up the game sippie would open it up again. I also pretty much expect that this game was not going to get restarted once lightning caused the delay.

The committee is going to find a way to force one b12 team to host but will none deserve it.

there is a month to go...

but a very interesting scenario is shaping up where A&M and Arkansas are the top 2 seeds in the tournament

and the likes of DBU, OU, and OSU finish around RPI #20. (and let's say OU & OSU are 1st and 2nd in the Big 12)

would the committee protect / reward the top seeds with soft regionals? (like they did last year for Wake and Florida)

or would geography still trump everything

last year #1 Wake Forest got Maryland and Northeastern as its 2 & 3 seeds

#2 Florida got UConn and Tech (6th place team Big 12) as its 2 & 3 seeds

If NCAA committee selections go as they usually do for us, we will most definitely NOT get rewarded with an easy regional.

That's pretty awesome

Listening to the D1 Highway to Hoover podcast today reminded me to go check out that weird play during Pig Gator. This happened during one of our games so I didn't really see what was going on, just thought that the UF baserunner was an idiot and botched the tag. I had no idea he was deked by the Pig CF and had to return to the bag! I'm with Burke; I've seen this tried I've never actually seen it work.

Arkansas can really pitch and plays defense. That's that really good club even if without an elite offense (we've scored ~100 more runs and hit ~40 more home runs!)
