Bama, long out, F9, 1 out
Imagine run ruling a team in 7 innings, then losing the seriesRED AG 98 said:
Dang. Lots of loud outs for the Bama in the 9th. Hopefully they can win the series tomorrow.

Sooners put up 1 in the 8th, up 9-4.
Closing out the sips.
I would take an RPI hit if it means the sips fail to see the post-seasonMcInnis said:TheBonifaceOption said:

If sips win one in this series I'm guessing their rpi won't change much but if they get swept that would be a big blow.

If that's not reason enough, it would be nice to have them just playing out the string when we visit in a couple of weeks.Sq 17 said:RED AG 98 said:

Are we rooting for Bama just because Ole Miss is the most Dou**-B** program in the SEC

First of all, that title belongs to Msst this year.
Secondly, you want teams that beat you to accumulate more wins than teams that didn't. (Yes I know we haven't played OM yet, but the point remains.) This shows that the Aggie loss isn't as bad.
There is a difference between going 2-1 vs a Top 25 and going 2-1 vs a 51-100. We can't change the loss, so we might as well wish them success.

This. And Kentucky is much like Tennessee with Mingione as their coach. He is just like Vitello.RED AG 98 said:TheBonifaceOption said:Sq 17 said:RED AG 98 said:

I would agree with you of we were on the bubble for a seed or the playoffs due to record or an RPI problem. We are not and do not. So I hope Ole Piss loses every game. That goes for LSU as well and even teams like Arkansas, UT and UK in front of us.
