The vibes with this team are incredible right now. Can't describe how much joy and entertainment Schott has brought to this team. The Tubby name + Monday fungo golf + Rattlin' Bog. His legacy will be immense. Rattlin' Bog was a blast this weekend. I can't wait to hear it again on Tuesday.

Schloss cracks me up. He kinda looks like that dad who's not mad at you, but he's really disappointed in you.

There's that "these kids make me drink" look every time someone asks him about Jace and Hayden.

At this point Schloss is clearly like "goddammit I thought I brought some maturity onto this team with Schott, Appel, and Burton, and now the kids are out of control. Whatever. We're winning."

Schotty has to be the youngest 24yo ever.

And JAppel is clearly that roommate we all had that walks in tired every night, from a much more productive day, sees whatever is going on with Hayden and Jace, and is like "I'm not dealing with this I'm going to straight to bed."

My sis and I used to sing a version of that growing up and I have always wondered where it came from or even what it was really because we were just singing a *******ized version of it that I knew was not original. I don't remember how two poor hispanic kids got a hold of it in Odessa, Tx in the early 90s but it happened somehow...

Or maybe the oldest 24yo ever. His walkup songs are Careless Whisper and Bad Boys and he's introduced a centuries-old Folk song as the team's theme song. Ha!

This weekend was great. I'm happy the team is having such a fun time and playing relaxed. But, that song is going to get old.

I went on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta the year the Macarena came out. Played that d*mn song pretty much around the clock at our hotel for the entire week we were there.

I remember getting on the plane as we left saying "Thank God I will not have to hear that song any more." God, of course, had other plans.

Fortunately, a few months later in the US, I somehow didn't kill the first person of many that giddily spewed "Hey, have you heard that new song? It's really catchy...*tee hee"

Thankfully, that song was relatively short-lived. For now anyway. I mean this one is a few hundred years old and is still annoying people today and doesn't suck when those 2 hot chicks sing it.. That's impressive and hopefully will annoy our opponents mercilessly this season. Vandy whistler and cow bells my azz.

Centuries ago...there was a lot of trade between Ireland and Spain. The Irish hub for Spanish trade was Galway. Galway -> Spain -> along the line eventually ending up in Odessa, TX.

My wife had never heard of it. I grew up in Maryland (closer to the Appalachians than Texas where my wife grew up). We sang it a lot in elementary school.
