If tech loses today to lose the series to Baylor, there's a strong argument that there should be no teams from the Big 12 ranked on Monday morning. We all know that's not going to happen, so the argument should be that there are no Big 12 teams among the actual 25 best teams in the country.

And now they have posted, ballgame. Not sure how curfew plays into this one. It was a 1pm start -- it can't have been no new innings after 4pm because they played on. It can't have been no new innings at 5pm because it was just 445pm when the called it. 430 for a 1pm game seems unlikely. My bet is on Mickey Mouse shenanigans from Pearce.

I hate to give sippie an excuse but weather played a role. Game started about an hour and half late.
Yes, it started at 220pm so I have no issue there. The game was called after top 8 was completed at 445. I am failing to understand a 4 or 430 pm getaway time for what was supposed to be a 1pm start.
ETA: It was just really weird timing to call the game then. Huskies didn't even take the field bottom of 8. Normally the visitor would try to hurry up and get outs, while the home team would try to delay and lollygag and such.

Forgot to add to the Top 25 scores that the Noles are still undefeated. Finished the sweep of Notre Dame with a 4-3 win. So where do the enter the rankings? Top 10?
I haven't looked up and down the 25 to see who fell off. I assume they'll jump Texas but they still haven't really played anyone. They got UF in a mid-week which is a hella good win, but we all know Midweeks are midweeks.jkag89 said:

That's too high, and an overreaction at this point in my mind. But they're winning and a bunch of other teams have lost, so it's not entirely crazy. With D1 it's probably more of a Roon-dog, "oh my, they beat Notre Dame!?? And ND has been good almost 2x in the last 50 years so they've gotta be ranked!!" overreaction.
(all that said, i love Rooney. But his fascination with bad baseball teams is humorous.)
