It was an everything meltdown. Fielding, walks, infield singles, and then a HR to cap it off. In the 8 run inning, the first ball that left the infield (aside from a lazy popup on the grass fielded by the SS) was a 3 run shot for runs 6, 7, and 8. Just a weird day of baseball.

Exactly. We are front row at the in deck circle. Nobody put anything in to "cruise control" whatever that means in baseball.

Yeah but I think we still lost a midweek once conference started if I'm not mistaken?
We went 50-14 overall that year, 18-10 in conference. The other 4 losses were SEC tournament (Vandy), Regional winners bracket game (Cal), And TCU15 X2.
Man that year was fun. It was my junior year.
