I was thinking the same myself. He's going to get a lot of the credit for this turnaround regardless of how much of it is him versus our players last year just because the difference is absolutely remarkable, even if it's near impossible to pin down exactly why the change. It certainly such a gaudy difference I wouldn't be surprised at all to see someone snatch him up.

Ali now hitting .245. But he does still have an obp of .403. He is hitting .100 against lefties, .282 against righties.

I think he is a quality bat though and will get it going again. Just one of those baseball things. He has had a number of lineouts recently. More walks than Ks. Something will fall and will get him going again.

Jace is Jace. Not worried. He did hit the dinger yesterday and still has more walks than strikeouts. My gut says he's gonna bust up Flo-Rida when we start conference play.

Are we going to get Will and Boomer back once SEC play starts?

Not worried about Ali at all. Especially if he continues to play good defense

I do too. In my opinion he should be the everyday starter. Not to mention the threat of his speed on the base paths is a significant advantage. Kid has won me over.

if he starts again tomorrow...I'd say he's won the job -- heading into SEC play

I think plenty of folks will get worked into 1B & 2B this year because we haven't found the permanent answer at either position yet.

Watched the game while on army duty today. Great way to pass the time today. It's been such a fun season to follow. 15-0! Reminds me of our 2015ish (?) season where we went 20+ games before losing.

First trip for the boys was a success!

Also fun that I ran into a classmate from 25 years ago within the first 10 mins and thdn a high school friend and former tamu coach.
