Funny enough, his body language on the first showed that it was on purpose but the second time, not so much.

I don't know that it was intentional so much as it was I'm running it in and if I miss and drill him I don't care. His body language sure as hell wasn't what I'd expect if it was completely accidental.


It was intentional. When you do it twice and the first one seemed suspect, that tells you all you need to know.


It may have been. I wouldn't have been upset if they ran him over it. Twice would just be so weird in general. Just strikes me as closer to a "I'm erring on the side of hitting you rather than giving you a hittable pitch."

The first one seemed intentional to me. Square middle of lower back, the release and ball motion in flight told me a lot.
