Pants just below the knee have been a great look in baseball for such a long time. It is a dying look and has been dying for decades. I always liked that A&M kept the look, as it fits with A&M holding to traditions.
The long pants look doesn't look bad especially when they are tapered and all the way down to the shoes, but I fear that A&M has lost the traditional look for good. "sad face emoji"

Always been a fan of team consistency. Decide up or down pre game or season. But still not that big of a deal.
Perhaps the players didn't want to wear them at their knees?

Personally I prefer showing the socks but as long as it is not the pajama pants look I'm OK with the pants down to the ankles.
Shocked it took until game three of the year for this thread. When he told me pre-season that the players would decide on pant lengths and likely a lot of long pants this year, I knew it wouldnt go over well. Women's clinic pics should have prepped you for this.
Yup. When they did "Ask the Aggies" Friday night, nearly all of them said they prefer long pants.
Good, players should get to wear what they like.
Outscore a team 31-1 in a series and you can wear shorts for all I care.
