My take: if you covet Derm's seat then out point him and drive the price up. You will have what you want fair and square.
So actually play by the rules? Who'd have thunk it?

For the record, our seats are always full and if we can not go we give them away to other Ags. As do all my friends who sit around me. Never sell them.

I am still trying to work out the mental gymnastics one has to perform to make season ticket holders (who are the main support of the program) are horrible villains (some poster on here have advocated fines) simply by not showing up or giving away/selling their tickets. Which are their property..

There is so much psych pathology here coupled with entitlement and coveting.

But this discussion shows up every season. Usually more than once.

I do the same as Ed and sit just a few seats down. If we can't make the game, we give our seats to someone who can.

And I remember reading that post that wanted to fine people if they didn't it in their seats. I thought it was a joke at first. Sadly for the poster, it wasn't.

I think right now (and I certainly don't speak for others, but this is what I take from it) the issue is that our team is good, trajectory is up, and there is a super high demand for season tickets with not enough availability to go around. Seeing empty seats on TV (whether anecdotal or not) would be annoying if you want to buy season tickets, would go to every game, but can't purchase them.

It is what it is. If you pay for the seat, then it's yours to do what you please with it. Whatever someone else says about it is irrelevant. Enjoy the season!

Most of the complainers haven't bought a ticket in years.

I don't know the status of them and their tickets. That was just my guess (wrong as it may be haha). Enjoy the season!!!

And most of the complainers probably have no financial investment or tickets, they sit at home watching tv worried about how things look.

Maybe we should fine people who do not come to games, financially support the baseball program, etc.? Makes about as much sense,

It's better than having a full Olsen where the only empty seats are right behind home-plate and between the dugouts. I have personally seen standing room only regionals where those sections are maybe 40% full.
Disagree. I started visually monitoring this years ago as I sit in the Club. For big games and post season games it is packed.

This is simply not true.

Seriously, I agree. We need more seats.

But this deal that season ticket holders who do not show up are bad or need to be punished is way over the top.

Well yeah.

The Internet has made it so that people have to keep coming up with more and more ridiculous takes in order to stand out from the crowd and feel heard. Like I said, your tickets are yours to do whatever you want with. Someone else's opinions on what you do with them are just that.

Will we hear the Vandy Whistler this season?

Are A&M's core values..optional? Who has the POWER to determine that? Are certain departments exempt? Why?

You know what, I'm deleting that because who the hell knows what's true on the internet anymore. It seems there are still lots of conflicting stories out there.

So I thought this was only for weekday games, but the past two days, they've made the announcement about it being fourth inning fill in time. Has the policy changed?

I thought SEC games were the only ones exempted from the fill in, but could be wrong.

If you're an hour late I'm not sure how you can be upset someone took your seat. Especially when they will just move when you ask.
Sometimes they don't.
I have never seen someone not move for someone that has tickets???

All weekend games are supposedly exempted. Never heard the announcement before this weekend. Heard it again today.

I, too, noticed the fill in announcement this weekend. I was surprised!!!

If there has been a policy change, I wish we would be notified.

I like it tons better than me giving tickets away then being resold by the person i gave them to. So i am leaning towards simply hoping someone will just randomly enjoy my seats.
