It pretty much is the best college baseball board for a team site I've frequented.

As a Texas fan I catch all the conference, local, of interest, and ranked scores here each week, and did so when we were in the same conference. It's more informative than ESPN.

The game threads (and traditions by various posters) are great, and the community is active, passionate, and supportive.

It's a lot of fun even as a rival fan.

I like 6 people.

I could see UF, Wake & LSU. Dave Van Horn is Mike Martin 2.0 (RIP Mike). They're always going to win it all, yet they never have. And please sleep on us. Our most preseason hyped teams never perform well, so this is perfect. Eff some online polls. They don't win games.

I get that we aren't being picked to win the CWS, but it's not like we are being slept on while being ranked in the top 10 preseason

Read the tweet. They asked the programs, who actually filled it out is anybody's guess.

How would Kendall know who actually answered?

He'd be as good a person as any to ask since his company produced the poll right? Maybe he can clarify for all of us on if he sent the request to the team equipment guys or groundskeepers etc..

You do know that the various Coach's Polls are often not filled out by the actual head coaches but a task passed on to some underling, right?

He won't really know. And honestly, it doesn't matter who filled it out. Its preseason media fodder. Something to talk about it.

Very few college football coaches fill out the their poll. It's usually the SID. The reality is most of those guys, even the SIDs, have very little time to watch the other teams on a week to week basis. So it wouldn't surprise me if it's the same here.

Also, I imagine that very few of the baseball coaches follow the rosters of other teams outside of their geographic area and or conference. Heck, they may not even follow the rosters of those teams outside of a few returning guys. So, it's really hard for those guys to know who came, who left, etc.

If I were a betting man, there's probably a greater chance that a team not on the list wins that a team on the list.

Kendall thinks Wake is the clear cut frontrunner...or at least that is what it sounded like on TA Radio the other day.

I'm 100% sure some pass it off, just as I'm 100% sure some take the 2 seconds to do it themselves. Doesn't make the results any less fun to look at.

Spurrier and Les Miles have said they both fill them out personally, off the top of my head.

I can definitely agree with WF being the front runner. I personally think it will be an SEC team, my money would be on Florida at the moment. Arky probably has the best front line staff but they historically underperform for some reason.

Of course it is a bit of preseason fun that sparks discussion, It is why D1 Baseball does such things, to draw clicks to their site. Considering they are the defending National Champs and the long success of the program I'm not all surprised many consider LSU as the favorite.

On the other hand, I find it a bit strange how hard you're defending it as if it actually matters.

I don't agree with the poll honestly as I don't think LSU repeats in Omaha, but i will take your money on them not making the SEC tourney.
