Kent looks terrible in the field. He just about butchered 3 plays in the 5th inning alone. Looks like the original "hands of stone".

What about Jimy getting boo-ed in the pregame introductions?

I'm a Jimy hater, but the booing was in very poor taste. Talk about making the home town look bad booing their own manager.

Hopefully they were all Red Sox fans and not Houstonians.

Jimy doesn't deserve to be booed. I've talked to him a couple times at Freebirds....nice guy.

Wow so being a nice guy means we have to be a complete saint to him. Sounds like being an aggie and enduring mark johnson and slocum has really rubbed off on us more than i thought

The booing was a bad reflection on our town. I could understand the passion against Jimy but why all the boos vented towards all the players?
It's an All-Star Game and we should be happy they are in our state and town. Booing shows a lack of class.

Okay give me a break. Have you guys ever watched a allstar game that WASNT IN HOUSTON? Every city in the entire league boos at allstar games. They boo in divison rivals, they boo players that have left their team, they boo dick heads.

Everyone is acting like this is the first time this has happend and its a lack of class. Its called baseball boys and girls and fans are knowledgable and remeber. So who did we boo? We booed a couple of the yankees, we booed alou, we booed jimmy and we booed barry bonds.

I think any fan in the league has a right to boo anything associated with the new york yankee$.

Alou he left houston and signed with chicago, big deal: he got some applause as well.

Jimmy williams is a horrible manager, we have the right to boo him. Everybody is getting all broke up because "oh my god i cant believe we booed jimmy and he had to stand there" BOO FING HOO. Jimmy is making several hundred thousands of dollars if not more so im not going to get all emotional because he had to stand there. THIS IS A BUSINESS and he wasnt doing his job. He brought that upon himself and i have no sympathy for someone making that much money to coach a GAME and doing such a bad job of it.

Finally we booed barry bonds. Do i even need to elaberate on this. The guy is a jerk, runs his mouth and thinks hes better than the game. Whats to like about him other than the fact that he can hit the ball deep? Everybody at every park he goes to boos him because he is a jerk and acts like a ******** to everyone, even the fans.

So we basically did what most fans in every park around the nation would do: in booing a jerk, a horrible coach, the AMERICAN LEAGUE players(actually only the yankees) and alou which he thought was funny. IF YOU DIDNT NOTICE WHEN THE GAME IS IN THE AMERICAN LEAGUE THEY BOO MOST THE NATIONAL LEAGUE GUYS, its baseball and fans root for the home town team or their leagues team. Everybody needs to get a grip espically those feeling sorry for jimmy williams

I don't think anyone booed Alou....they Alooooooooou-ed him

he didn't leave the Astros....they refused to offer him a contract....he was a bit ticked about that (so was Bagwell)

I agree with the rest of what you said though....every host city boos big division rivals and everyone boos the Yankees
