Definitely a kid the coaches will be watching around his 8th grade / 9th grade year. Lefty that I bet will stick with it and only get better

He looked good last night, but I was most impressed with his poise on the mound.

He definitely had some moxie on the mound. He was mixing up speed/location and kept them off balance. What does coach say - he wants strike throwers and he threw them at a 75% clip. Quite impressive for a 12 year old.

Not a bad catcher either.

I will be there Saturday to watch him pitch.

I know they like to show all the big leagues who played in the LLWS but I'm curious what the burnout rate is on these kids.

I remember the Spring team from the late 90s that made it to LLWS - I don't know if any of them were still even playing in high school....maybe just one or two of them at best.

You never know how these kids will turn out. Could continue to develope, maybe they have peaked early or pursue another sport. I have seen it all in my coaching years. We have Ferarro joining the Aggies this year from Pearland who did continue to develope.
