I've heard credible chatter since day 1 that Schloss is hard to work for. Heard some stuff too about him and Yeskie's deteriorating relationship. Is Max the best we could do? Does Schloss have a "rep"?

Then why does he have so many long term assistants in his career?
He hasn't exactly churned through assistants over the years at tcu or here.
You'd lose that wagerTxA&Mhunter said:
Not from Anyone creditable I'd wager… tbh Nolan and Coach Earley could leave any day of the year and have a job at mlb or d1 level in less than a week…
He's not the first guy to do this. Lots of travel in pro ball, and outside of traveling with the big league club, it's not the easiest travel. And, it's a long season which starts with a couple of months of spring training on the road. It can really wear on people.Darby said:
-Why leave the MLB when you are climbing fast, for the college ranks? Is it money?
I haven't heard anything like that and I'm pretty close to the program.Darby said:Valid pointspowerbelly said:Quote:

Seattle's pitching staff handled the Stros pretty well taking 3 out of 4 over the weekend.
Also a perfect situation to bring in NIL monetyfrom Oscar Mayer.

To be fair, they mostly handled the sugar land lineup, but yes.

I assume he would go to the minor league affiliates part of the time, but I suppose he could have done all, or most of it, through video.jja79 said:
They have two uniformed pitching coaches in Seattle. Was he traveling with them as well? Sounded an analyst job from how I read it.
