After the 4 game collapse, what is the overall season records between the Good Guys and the cubs?

Black eye for anyone proud to be a sports fan in Texas.

I think the "Good Guys" are now down 4-5 in the series this year. There is still a lot of baseball between these two clubs, but how the Astros are playing of late, it won't mean much except in padding the Cubbies win total.

big cardinals fan here, and i think that stl is overachieving big time right now. i think that houston is underachieving, and to some of you die hards that might be a huge understatement. i just feel that at the end of the year its between the cubies and the stros. the stros have some guys on there that wont let this thing get out of hand. there is still a lot of baseball left, and houston definately has a lot of good bball in front of them, whereas stl i think can only go downhill.

Actually, it's not as bad as I thought. In spite of the sweep this week, the Good Guys are only down 1 (4 wins vs 5 for the cubs) on the season series.

Hopefully we can turn it around...hopefully the hitting slump will end soon and Pettite will be back soon.

It would be nice for a team from our state to win the division again. Contrary to some on here, I've visited Illinois enough to know I don't want them to win...about as much as they don't want a team from Texas to win. Excuse my Texas pride.

Is this about the pitching ofthe teams or the current state of the Astros bats? The Cubs pitching did the same thing to the Astros that the Mariners, Brewers, etc. pitchers did to the Astros.

actually, the NY Mets have the best ERA in the national league...at least they did going into this week.
