Kaufer is one of the reasons we have been playing better of late.
Blue has no idea what he's doing on the outside pitch. Some of those were 6-8" off.
Strike 1 to Max was a foot out and below his knees. That'll make a lots of folks look like Cy! CC better get the same damn zone.12th Man Ag said:

So, we are obviously good at knowing the strike zone and being patient. What do you do when the ump is making terrible calls? Do you switch to being more aggressive and attacking close pitches or do you stay the course?

It will be such a better game when everyone knows what a ball and strike are. Pitchers will be able to work the entire zone consistently every time they pitch.

We needed it on Cortez's first pitch to their 3 hole before he cleared the bases with a double. It was the exact same pitch.
Go watch both of those pitches again. Kaufer leaned right on Cortez's pitch. Stanford catcher didn't. Stamford's catcher is a big kid and can sell those pitches better.
