The elimination gong doesn't bother one nearly as much when his team has won a regional and a super regional and games against tu and notre dame. I know this for a fact.

Working on the 17th floor on a Friday afternoon and I hear and see the beer wagon on the street below full of drunk and rowdy revelers, and know that at some point in the next couple of weekends almost all of them will experience the elimination gong. It's a weird feeling.

Wife asked me earlier if I thought the Ags would win tonight. I said that if this was any other year between 1986 and 2021, I would say no because Fullerton is a well coached team and they would just outsmart us and win the game at some point. But now, I am not so confident in our ultimate defeat. That's a weird feeling and a good feeling too.

Don't know that I can stay up till midnight to watch. I will just have to check the internet in the am.
