All use - does it protect when sliding? Most sliders throw up both hands.

You don't slow down as much on a head first slide, and there's way more flexibility and options to dodge a tag than feet first sliding.Buford T. Justice said:

To me, it is much more efficient to slide feet first, plus, in my opinion, you have more flexibility to adjust to a tag that is being made.
