Needed ONE win against the sips and they fall flat on their faces and get swept, giving the sips a piece of Big12 championship and the #1 seed.

Especially when you consider they will get a few more wins in the B12 tourney this weekend. You can 100% count on Texas being a host. I don't know if the committee will send DBU back to Austin for a second straight year, though. My prediction:

1. Texas
2. Pac 12 team
3. Texas A&M
4. Southland tourney champion - Nicholls is the regular season champ, UIW finished a game back, then Lamar and New Orleans tied for 3rd, one game back of UIW

Softball got sent to Austin for their regional. Committees lately have had such a weird obsession with forcing the A&M v t.u. matches.

Really hope we don't go to Austin in baseball.

A few things I noticed today for the first time...

1. Our bullpen guys started celebrating immediately.

2. Our bullpen guys got to home plate in time for the celebration.

3. The WVU third baseman went full surrender cobra the instant the ball left the bat.

When geography is a major component of how they draw the brackets, two schools in different conferences and which are 90 miles from each other are going to uhh, lock horns often when they're different seeds

that's right. Probably won't be DBU again. And Texas State is looking shaky now with an RPI outside the top 50.

theoretically, since the sips would be the 15th or 16th host...they should get power conference teams as their 2-seed and 3-seed

And their super regional pairing was ECU! Granted, ECU had a great season and deserved a national seed, but not a power conference.

Sips host for sure. Last year TCU won the big 12 and sips hosted and we got them, so expect us to be paired with sips if we make it. We suck so annoying to get run by them at their place but know the committee loves this when we are the lesser team. They should have gotten run last year in CS while TCU hosted. How does the conference champ not hosr?

Funny thing is what is the committee going to do in baseball and softball after paperclip and cow move to the SEC, no more sending softball or baseball to Norman or Austin as they don't put the same conference in the same regional.

In the extended footage, I like the part where you can see a man explaining to his wife that WVU doesn't get to bat again.

My least favorite part is how we can back later and got bombed by Duke...as is the customary Aggie way, it seems.

Getting one of if not the lowest national seed is a good thing
I think DBU ends up at Arky the 2 seed will have to be flown in
likely the four is anybody that is within driving distance
Expect the sips to get all kinds of help at the bdf tourney

Don't forget, it was a 3 way tie for the Big XII title, and OSU is actually ahead of the sips in the RPI. I would not be surprised at all to see us head to Stillwater, given that we went to Austin in 2018 and the sips haven't made a post-season trip to College Station, yet (they do tend to kind of balance these things out).

The dream of any young baseball player - bottom 9, down 3, bases juiced, 2 outs, 3-2 count. Unreal.

And every pitcher's worst nightmare.

That memory seems farther back and fuzzier than it should given it was just 2019, I guess losing to Duke later the same day dampened the memory a bit - for me anyway. But I remember the Rice grand slam just as well and it was way back in 2004, but that was a regional championship game.

I also like the WVU fans left of home plate (from camera view) all snap their head up instantly once ball is struck.

And it's harder to see, but the WVU 2nd baseman was doing the same thing as the third baseman.

One of the bullpen guys got to third the same time Blaum did.
