That 1-2 or 2-2 on that lay batter was straight down the pipe. I'm just saying I would get thrown out of the game if I was there. Especially if I was in the dugout. When I start I don't have an off switch.

Defense. He got a lot of time in the middle of league play. Defense was a major issue. BA was better than Max but OBP was about the same because Max actually walks a ton.

Ball 3 on the third batter in the 1st is a classic example of how any given pitch can impact a ballgame. Lamkin seemed to be in a groove until that perfect curveball was called a ball… flush it and keep dealing!
