Anyone know if we'll have batting practice in Olsen with the rain or just use the indoor cages? My sons want to be there for BP this morning (they usually watch from the outfield while my wife and I wait for the gates to open).

Doc, I'm thinking about our pitching. Starters start then stop for 30 minutes or longer a couple of times and they're done. Now we're into our pen.

This storm system is a very slow mover - it looks like rain till at least 1:00 or so. The outfield is gonna be pretty sloppy if/when we get this thing rolling today.

I hear you.

I just think double headers take away a lot of home field advantage. Bama's bullpen has not been that good and actually our relievers have been much better than our starters.

Garcia and Aschenbeck have been great. Need Cortez to step up.

The key to this whole thing is starting pitching. We get 5-6 innings out of Troy today then we can probably save Will to start Sunday.

Obviously Schloss feels that Garcia and Aschenbeck recover quickly and can pitch again this weekend. Garcia might even be able to pitch two more times. Dude is a workhorse.
