We are playing good baseball again. Defense has been consistently good (not great) all season. Huge improvement from a year ago. Our bats have been warming up and are a Bost/Targac hot streak away from being very good. Our pitching has obviously been the issue but has actually done their part the past couple weeks. Wansing looked much better, Lamkin looked sharp and would be a massive addition to the weekend rotation, Dettmer is starting to settle in, and Schloss has figured out what he has in the bullpen and is using it as best as he can.

All that to say, we need 5 of the last 6 SEC games and a sweep this weekend would be huge.

Aggies on the bubble will not go well. Seen it too many times the past few years. Schloss is going to figure this out. He is the man.

Side note-

For those of you coming into town for the game. Please drive carefully. If you miss your exit, just go to the next one and turn around. We had 7-8 reported "major" accidents in BCS yesterday, with at least one fatality (hwy 6 south in Bryan was shut down for like 5-6 hours for a single vehicle accident). It's graduation weekend. Students aren't great drivers. The people who taught them to drive are also in town. It's a mad house. At least 2 reported accidents already this morning.

Moral of the story- drive safe. People are dumb. Wait a few seconds before starting at a green light. Look both ways at a round about. Don't be the next BCS accident
