I would post this on the General board but i doubt you check that too much. This is regards to your burnt hand story a few days ago.

I was talkin to a friend at blue baker today and I mentioned my friend thats a bartender at Poets and how he makes good flaming dr peppers and all that jazz. And she was like ohhh and started in on a story about how she was at a party last weekend and this guy named byron was tryin to make flaming dr peppers and at that point i stopped her and go wait wait, lemme guess he burnt his hand to hell right? and she was like omg howd you know. small world. just thought ide let ya know... i found it kinda funny.

Byron...was that after i left?? Man how'd you screw that one up?

Can you still bunt Byron?

Thanks Josh for making it baseball related, i dont feel so bad about posting it on the baseball board now.

I batended in dallas and put the amaretto/151 into a plastic shot glass (first mistake), I then proceeded to drop it in the glass of the guy (2nd mistake). Well being a plastic glass it didn't sink, but buoyancy kicked in and the shot glass "jumped" out of the glass and got all over the guys arm. I was apologizing all night. The smell of burnt flesh was hilarious though.

ok well to save face a little ill tell the whole damn story.

drank an ass load of beer during the baseball game, was wasted by about the 7th inning. was still wasted when people requested some flaming dr. peppers but i was dumb enough to try it anyways. i loaded up 4 shots of amaretto with a touch of everclear on top. i then poured some everclear in my mouth spilling some on my left hand in the process but evidently i was too drunk to notice or really care when everyone told me to dip my hand in water. went ahead and flamed away, setting the glass table on fire in the process as well as everyones shots. my hand also caught on fire and from what im told, i thought it looked pretty cool for a second...until it wouldnt blow out. i then hit it on my shirt and set my shirt on fire. i then dove into the grass and beat it out. after that i spent the remainder of the party with my hand in the keg's ice...i went to the dr. and he gave me some cool cream stuff and its progressing very well.

and josh, i dont think i could grip a baseball bat with both hands right now but i think i could drag bunt left handed because you dont have to grip the bat with your left hand to do that.

by the way who is your friend that was at the party? that party turned out to be one heck of a party by the end of the night if i must say so myself

Make a career of it Byron. I think that's the only worthwhile contribution I made to the team. I did give us a nice homerun ball to watch though.

The team won without byron last week, so it's no big deal if he can't play for a while.

byron definitely needs to have more parties, though. He also needs to let someone else do the bartending. I'm just sad that I missed him going up in flames.

since yall got your licks in id like everyone to know i was 0-1 with 2 perfectly executed sacrifice bunts to move the runner to 2nd with just 1 out. both times he scored and we won 4-0...i also pitched 2 scoreless innings and struckout in my only at bat not to lay down a sac bunt. I might be one of the only people to ever take a cut left handed and right handed in the same at bat...anyone ever seen that happen?
