Nah, I only use last names in the scorebook and Lane is about as easy as it gets.

However, if I could learn how to spell Scheschuk, then Jorvorskie shouldn't be too difficult.

At 5'9" 175 as a hs freshman he'll get a little bigger but I doubt he'll be trucking anyone like pops… but as mentioned trucking ain't a thing anymore

Didn't know anything about him until now. He's extremely highly rated so obviously a big get. But, he could be a first round pick in the draft and if so, likely never sets foot on campus.

Wait, Quinlan Germany coaches baseball at OD Wyatt? I played basketball at Arlington Heights in Fort Worth and we played Quinlan in a non-district game when he was at All Saints and he was a pretty damn good basketball player too, he was pretty much their entire team. He was clearly a stud football player since he went to A&M on scholarship for it, but if he's coaching baseball I'm assuming he may have been a 3 sport star at All Saints. Pretty cool connections in this one.

He made his commitment via PerfectGameUSA with a live announcement on Monday afternoon. According to PerfectGame, Lane is ranked as the top outfielder in the state of Texas for the class of 2026 with a grad of 9, which translates to, "Potential top 10 round pick and/or highest level college prospect."

He has a long time to develop but potential top 10 rounds and saying he could be a first round pick is a very big difference. Probably more likely than not he goes to college.
