I use a laptop to type, and have the game streaming on a TV.

I have 3 windows of the Texags thread open. I type in the first one, use the middle one to keep up with who's up next in the lineup, and use the third one to refresh responses to see comments and have my most recent post ready to copy if I need to.

The 4th tab is usually the stat tracker. It keeps me honest on the runs/hits/errors/substitutions and helps me catch up if I leave for a batter.

I usually have tabs for the season statistics for the Aggies and their opponent so I can fill in some numbers on the pitching changes.

The portion at the bottom of the posts used to be the line score, but there would be handfuls of posts every season where someone would show up and say "What's the score?". Nothing made me more convinced that I was wasting my time/life, so I started putting the names of the teams at the top of the scoring portion so the score was at the forefront of the information being posted. I haven't seen anyone ask the score since.

I type with the "code"....meaning "b" in brackets for bold and "i" for italics. I think that's faster. And after editing the score section at the bottom after each play, I copy that whole section within the posting window with a ctrl+c and then paste with ctrl+v on the following post. The only thing that slows me down is occasionally Texags will decide it has had enough of you pasting information, and it won't let you paste what you just copied. Then I have to refresh in Tab 3 and copy from the most recent play there, then paste in a new post.

Follow these simple rules, and the popularity/money/babes start rolling in.
