I was a freshman in 2009-10 so the 2010 was the first I saw in Aggieland. I don't remember the opponent, but I remember this one game where they had runners on first and second with 1 out, Tyler Naquin catches this pop fly at the RF foul pole for out #2 and then proceeds to deliver an absolute bullet to 3B to keep the runner at second. Our 3B didn't even have to move an inch, the throw was so powerful (no bounce) and accurate. The entire stadium let out a collective "Woah!" What a team we had in 2010!

By 2012, runners wouldn't even think about running on Naquin. Plenty tried in 2011 and it wasn't a good time for them.

Funny enough, Naquin wasn't stellar in 2010. I think he hit somewhere around .250 before hitting .380 the next 2 seasons. Insane.

Loved watching that team. Great find.

I loved that team. Shewmake, Pennington, Choruby… Brigham, Doxakis. So awesome to watch them go to Omaha after the disappointment of 2016.

Hell yeah! That Big XII tournament they won was one of my favorite baseball moments of that era. Especially the 9th inning against Baylor.
