I'm going to set up a tailgate in Aggie Alley for that one. Will be more fun with our coonass friends coming in to party with us that weekend.
Then maybe you don't get any renovation. Facts are we where not packing the place before. I never had season tickets until the reno because you get buy seats for almost every game at the gate before hand. There wasn't a demand.dabo man said:
Almost makes you wish we hadn't gutted capacity when we renovated. Byrne had driven down fan interest to the point you could say those seats weren't necessary, but it was inevitable that the lack of supply would come back to bite us.
In 2003, we sold 8847 tickets against tu (our record). Wonder how long it would have taken those missing seats to sell out this season?

Agree. I will say several of us tried to sell how we needed more seats because of what the SEC meant. And I always hated berms.BQ_90 said:Then maybe you don't get any renovation. We built what we did because that's all we could afford on Big XII budget. And it took Blue Bell coming in an saving the day with large donation to get things started.
When it came time for construction, we where not going to the SEC. We can say we should of waited or whatever, but not doing what we did could have meant baseball got put behind Kyle Field in the reno order.

But hind sight is 20/20. There was zero demand for baseball season tickets at that point in time. And you could buy seats in the lower deck for face or less for every game.
