Yes I know, just trying to work another angle, if I can work in a little more pull from the Almighty!
Was Konderla there as an associate w/ Fr. Michael? I recognize the name, but knew Fr. Michael a little better.Potcake said:
Catholic here and can't stand ND. St. Mary's in College Station has produced a couple of Bishops, Michael Sis, Bishop of San Angelo, and David Konderla, Bishop of Tulsa (Fr. David presided at our wedding). BTHeckOND.

Hmmm have to think of a non-sacrilegious way to dedicate tomorrow morning's rosary to an Aggie win!

St. Mary's Catholic Center on Church street has several thousand Catholics that show up for mass every weekend, with typically at least 100-200 every weekday for daily mass. I don't know about raw numbers of declared Catholics, but I bet you that St. Mary's has FAR more practicing Catholics than the domers.
Edit: Aggie Catholic here, and I always have my Grandfather's rosary on me.

Born and raised Catholic. ND can suck it

Well it hasn't had much of an impact on their "talent" level, that's for sure. Judging by my football game viewings.Ghost of Bizbee said:
Notre Dame's student body is a lot more secular than most think. Been that way for probably 3 decades
Well, no one does that, so there's not really a mystery to figure out there.Rec said:
I've always found it amusing how many Irish people swear fealty to some dude in Italy
