Mark Johnson had us in so many regional finals games, if the ball had bounced the other way half the time, we'd have had several trips to Omaha during his tenure.

The '93 team was the real tragedy because they were the best team in the country throughout the season (same as '89, obviously).

Childress could have had a few more trips to Omaha but those teams had consistent shortcomings. We just couldn't hit, and our approach was pretty frustrating as well.

Oddly I feel ok. The team settled in and that's the best pitching we'll see for at least a week. Need Micah to step up and we'll be fine

We just can't dig big ass holes on this stage. We're in Omaha. We don't have the same margin for error we've had all year. These opponents are all good.

These jackass announcers trying so hard to make their keys to the game relevant. OU didn't win because of their pitching, fielding, and baserunning. They won because they had a few clutch hits to capitalize on 15 free base runners.

Not our day in any shape or form but our boys did continued to fight so I'm not going to hang my head. We've not lost back to back games since the Bama series so lets effin go!

The fact that this team is in Omaha is incredible/incredulous/unbelievable. This team has big flaws and they've played WELL beyond their realistic ceiling.

At the beginning of the year with 20+ transfers and my work situation I said, "I'm just skipping this season.". And it looked like a good decision. Then I was intrigued by the LSU, Vandy series, etc etc. I was ... "cautiously optimistic" with the Schloss hire, Definitely didn't feel it was a home run. But it seems I was ridiculously wrong.

This team is a cobbled together mess of parts due to the transition. Very flawed, very talented and very confident (or dumb or clueless, whatever). They never know when they're "supposed" to give up. They're imperfect but oh so fun to watch. So I'll run up to Omaha Sunday just to say I've seen them. It may it may not be their last game but I need to see em in person at least once. They've earned that and so much more.

Welp…we at least put ourselves in a spot to potentially pull it out after about as bad a start that you could come up with. But, terrible starting pitching (again), free base runners and poor fielding by our pitchers doomed us.

Gotta go on a winning streak starting Sunday.

I was in Tallahassee in 2011, and when I saw all of the madness in our dogpile, I knew the team was just happy to make it to Omaha (at least that's how I read it at the same).

I don't see this team that way at all. We pulled the same crap today that we've gotten away with oh so many games as of late, but we came up against a red hot opponent, and this time we were made to pay for it.
