update: yesterday I was too tired, but today I am sad. honestly, I just wanted one more game.

I still feel like we were dealt a pretty poor hand this post season and that us frustrating. I didn't ever expect the frogs to make a deep run tbh, but I wanted us to make it to today.

I'm more emotional than I expected to be. I watched the whole game rooting for (and never doubting the outcome) and excited for my family and them getting that "we are going to omaha"

but im not gonna lie, watching my old coach walk out on to the field felt a little more like a gut punch than I expected.

It's like watching someone you used to love be happy with some else a little too soon and you want them to be happy but still it stings a little.

but im glad yall won. yall won't at minute Maid next year.

I'll say one thing, dear friend... at least it's better than if he went to Austin, Baton Rouge, etc. instead.
It's a different kind of bad, but at least when (not if) Saarloos gets Lupton really humming again, you might be able to root on TCU and Schloss easily.

I REMEMBER AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER

I REMEMBER yall saying you would hold a grudge FOREVER when Schloss challenged your pitcher about possibly having a substance on his cap.

Forever! was a pretty short time folks. I won't hold it over your head, but I'll probably giggle about for as long of a forever as it took for yall to go from hatred to saying he's the best thing since ice cream.
