I have a hard time measuring off LSU but based on this weekend, I think scratching a win in Oxford should be the goal. A series win there would be a huge bonus.

It's really nice controlling our own destiny in the conference hunt.

oh my, the Ags catch a nice break with game 3 of the Alabama-Auburn series ruled a "no contest"

Auburn will have to be 2 games better than A&M next weekend to pass the Ags in the standings.

Maybe there is a little Kansas football karma still flowing? We can hope, right? I saw the runs KU gave up this weekend, they might as well just walk Melendez every time he comes up.

Perhaps but they have a lot of work to do and need lots of help for that to happen. At 11-10, they are 3 behind the Tards and 2 wins behind the Pokes and OU. Ahead of them:

TCU at 16 wins and finished with conference play.
Tards at 14 get OU at home.
Pokes, 13, at Baylor
OU, 13, at Tards

Because the CWS allows for losses. We lost the chance for a perfect season months ago...and guess what...we can still end up with a title.
