The pre conference schedule is ridiculously weak and we should be 16-0 when we play UH. Maybe an upset in Frisco, but the rest are cream puffs.

You know that even when we have very good teams, it almost never works that way.
Once again, how has staff not made tempting the arbitrary nature of the mischievous baseball gods a reason to flag a post is beyond me.
How can you say that, when you've never seen most of our guys play, Childress left the cupboard pretty bare.

There's likely to be some experimentation and moving around of starters until we find the top guys. Will that result in an early loss or not TBD, but not uncommon.

Early season performances have been a pretty decent harbinger
I don't know about 16-0, but losing a series to some joke of a Midwest team, or even going 2-1 against more than one has been a decent indicator
